The Dusted Dons have earned underground fame as one of New York's premier live hip hop acts. Their reputation earned them a spot to perform for legendary DJ Red Alert at his private birthday bash, as well as a spot at the VH1 Save the Music Benefit Concert and just recently opened for Lloyd Banks, Jadakiss, MIMS and Fat Joe on the Hunger for More Tour's sold out stop at the Soveirgn Bank Arena, Trenton, N.J. MC'S Govone and C-Chan have over twenty years combined experience in the NY Hip Hop world of showcases, battles, performances, production, including battling at the Roxy for MTV's MC Battle and various radio freestyles. The rhythms really expand by the talent of a creative, battle ready turntablist, DJ Melski, who is more Hendrix than Funkmaster Flex. In June '04 the Dons formed FloSpot Records L.L.C and released their first 12" vinyl single feat. Tame One). The single had an immediate buzz and became Undergroundhiphop.com's top selling 12" for the month of August 2004, as well as still getting a good amount of college, streaming and satellite radio. The sessions for the single laid the foundation for the two forces combining and forming the Slow Suicide Stimulus.
